On September 27, 2026 at the National Economics University became a vibrant meeting point for the colors and energy of youth at My Smart Choice 2026 – Euphoria: A Night to Become. The freshman gala for IBD@NEU Intake 22 and BBAE@NEU Intake 68 was more than a night of music, lights, and energetic performances. It was also one of the first milestones in their university journey – a place where new faces met, connections were made, and a new chapter began together at the International School of Management and Economics (ISME).

For freshmen of IBD@NEU Intake 22 and BBAE@NEU Intake 68, the first days at the National Economics University mark the beginning of a journey into a new environment, new friendships, and entirely new experiences. My Smart Choice 2026 – Euphoria was therefore created not only to welcome a new generation of students, but also to create a space where they could confidently express themselves, connect with one another, and feel a stronger sense of the community they will be part of throughout their university years.
The event was attended by Dr. Trịnh Thị Thu Giang, Vice Director of ISME; Dr. Đỗ Khắc Hưởng, Director of Marketing and Brand Center at Marketing Faculty, National Economics University; along with lecturers and staff from ISME, and the most importantly, the freshmen who brought their own colors and personalities to the Euphoria stage.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Trịnh Thị Thu Giang shared words of encouragement for the freshmen as they embark on a journey of learning, exploration, and personal growth. She encouraged every student to step beyond their comfort zone, discover their potential, and create their own story during their years at ISME. She also expressed her sincere appreciation to parents for their trust, for choosing the programs, and for accompanying their children throughout this new chapter. Her gratitude was extended to the event’s sponsors, Techcombank and Andrews University, whose support helped create a meaningful platform for IBD and BBAE freshmen to confidently showcase their talents, individuality, and youthful spirit.

When Music Awakens the Energy of Youth
If Euphoria marked the beginning of a new journey, then music, lights, and performances were the language through which the energy of youth was awakened and shared.
At Phase 1: Chromatic, the first colors of youth took the stage. From bright and dreamy expressions to youthful, bold, and confident performances, each team found its own way to tell its story. The Euphoria stage therefore became more than a showcase of performances – it became a space where different personalities came together and had their moment to shine.

These emotions continued to unfold in Phase 2: Awakening. The colors and performances constantly evolved, shifting from powerful and inspiring moments to softer and more captivating expressions. Through every melody, movement, and creative choice, the freshmen brought more than performances to the stage. They also demonstrated their confidence and readiness to embrace new experiences.

Then came Phase 3: Ecstasy, where all those colors came together in the most vibrant moments of the night. The energy on stage continued to rise, drawing the audience into every performance. The distance between the stage and the audience seemed to disappear as hundreds of students cheered, sang along, and created the electrifying atmosphere of Euphoria together.

The Euphoria stage truly erupted when rapper Winno took the spotlight. With catchy beats, a distinctive rap style, and powerful energy, Winno quickly brought the entire Hall A2 to life. Cheers filled the room, hands rose into the air, and hundreds of students moved along to the music, creating one of the most exciting and memorable moments of the night.

Another highlight of the gala was the performance by the Supervisors and Mentors of OW2026, who had accompanied the freshmen throughout a week filled with experiences and memories. Dressed in their blue and red shirts, they brought “Điều tuyệt vời nhất” to the stage as a message to the freshmen: among the many choices that shape our youth, meeting one another, growing together, and sharing this journey at ISME can become one of the most beautiful parts of those years. From those who had walked this path before came another message through “Lời đầu tiên” – encouraging the freshmen to move forward with confidence, embrace every experience, and write their own stories. The cheers, smiles, and contagious energy turned the performance into a heartfelt and spirited welcome to a journey that had just begun.

The most anticipated moment of the night finally arrived – the announcement and award ceremony of My Smart Choice 2026. More than a celebration of outstanding performances, the ceremony recognized the creativity, dedication, countless hours of practice, and determination each team brought to the Euphoria stage. Amid cheers and applause, the winning teams were announced one by one, bringing the competition to a memorable close.

To close the vibrant night of Euphoria, DJ XV took the stage and brought the excitement to its peak. Every beat was met with cheers and a sea of raised hands, as the entire Hall A2 seemed to move as one with the music. The energy and emotions of the night came together with every beat, creating an exhilarating finale that brought the gala to a spectacular and unforgettable close.

One Night Comes to an End, A New Journey Begins
What remains after Euphoria is more than the performances that took place or the moments captured in photographs. It is also a collection of firsts: the first time stepping onto a large stage, the first time preparing a performance together as a team, the first time meeting new friends, or simply the first time creating a shared memory under the roof of a university.
For the freshmen of IBD@NEU Intake 22 and BBAE@NEU Intake 68, these experiences may become some of the first pieces of a much bigger journey of growth at ISME.
