On July 3, 2026, at Conference Room G, Building A1, National Economics University (NEU), the International School of Management and Economics (ISME) and the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (FDA), in collaboration with the Envestor Club, successfully organized the Final Round of the Inter-Faculty Entrepreneurship Competition, BizTech Hackathon 2026: Innovera.
After nearly three months of implementation, featuring a series of workshops, mentoring activities, and four intensive competition rounds, BizTech Hackathon 2026: Innovera attracted nearly 100 students from educational institutions in Vietnam and abroad. Participating institutions included National Economics University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Foreign Trade University – Ho Chi Minh City Campus, Academy of Finance, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Thuongmai University, VNU University of Engineering and Technology, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China). The participation of students from diverse educational institutions demonstrates the growing reach of the competition among students interested in entrepreneurship and technology.
The Final Round of BizTech Hackathon 2026: Innovera
The competition consisted of four rounds: Problem Discovery, Strategy Development, Project Design and Validation, and the Final Round. The rounds were structured along the development process of a startup project, from assessing foundational knowledge and identifying and analyzing problems to developing business models, designing solutions, completing prototypes, and presenting projects before the judging panel. Through the competition, participating teams had the opportunity to apply interdisciplinary knowledge in business and technology to address practical challenges, while developing their products with a focus on applicability and feasibility.

Alongside the competition rounds, the Organizing Committee conducted two specialized training workshops led by Dr. Nguyen Quang Huy, a lecturer at Foreign Trade University and an expert in entrepreneurship and innovation. The workshops focused on problem identification, business model development, and product value development, providing participating teams with approaches and methods to identify problems, develop business models, and refine their projects prior to the subsequent competition rounds.

Throughout the competition, participating teams also received continuous support from a team of coaches comprising entrepreneurs, technology experts, lecturers, and managers from domestic and international organizations. Their feedback on product development strategies, business models, technology orientations, and pitching skills supported the teams in refining their projects and enhancing their capacity for practical application.

Prof. Dr. Ha Minh Hoang, Dean of the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence; and Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang, Deputy Director of the International School of Management and Economics, together with staff and lecturers from ISME and FDA.
Representatives of partner organizations and businesses attending the event included representatives from MCNA Technology School, OnAir Online Broadcasting Platform Joint Stock Company, Skilio Career Fellowship (Singapore), and DOL English Co., Ltd., together with mentors and coaches who are experts from businesses and lecturers from universities. Their participation contributed to providing guidance and support to the participating teams throughout the competition.
The Final Round judging panel comprised experts with extensive experience in technology, entrepreneurship, and business development, including Ms. Dau Thuy Ha, Chairwoman of KidsOnline Co., Ltd., the developer of KidsOnline comprehensive preschool management software, and Mr. Nguyen Trung Viet Hoang, Founder and CEO of OneTik Advertising and Communications Joint Stock Company. Drawing on their practical experience in business development, the judges provided professional perspectives, assessments, and recommendations to support the teams in further refining their business models and products.

Throughout the competition, the teams were supported by coaches from businesses, educational organizations, and National Economics University, including representatives from Yuanta Vietnam Securities Company, MELs Media Joint Stock Company, Eastgate Software Joint Stock Company, OnAir Online Broadcasting Platform Joint Stock Company, Reactor School (Singapore), and lecturers from the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. With expertise in business, technology, artificial intelligence, and product development, the coaches supported the teams in refining their ideas, developing business models, building prototypes, and preparing for the final presentations.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Director of the International School of Management and Economics, emphasized that BizTech Hackathon is not only an academic competition but also an environment in which students can apply interdisciplinary knowledge to address practical challenges. Through teamwork, research, product development, and discussions with experts, the competition contributes to fostering innovative thinking, enhancing problem-solving capabilities, and strengthening connections between students and businesses.

At the Final Round, the seven participating teams presented their projects, business models, and prototypes and responded to questions from the judging panel. The projects addressed various areas, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, enterprise management platforms, education, healthcare, and operational process optimization. Most teams developed prototype products in the form of websites or applications, demonstrating the ability to translate ideas into products and the feasibility of their proposed solutions.
The program took place in an active and focused atmosphere, with the teams demonstrating careful preparation in research, business model development, presentation, and response to questions from the judging panel.
Team DRACONIS presented CloneOS, an artificial intelligence-based platform designed to support workflow automation and operational efficiency for businesses. The project focuses on developing an AI system capable of learning and performing repetitive tasks, with the aim of reducing operational costs and improving productivity in the digital environment.

Team TRIPLE TROUBLE presented ISME Operations Platform, a management and operations platform for educational institutions. The project addresses challenges related to management, data connectivity, and operational process optimization through the application of technology, with the aim of developing a modern and efficient management ecosystem.

Team GUESS WE WIN presented ReactorOS, a solution designed to support the management and optimization of operational activities through technology. The project demonstrates an approach to applying digital transformation to improve management efficiency and has potential for further development.

Team TÔN ANH MINH presented An Tâm App, an application developed to address practical needs in daily life through the combination of technology and user experience. The project focuses on sustainable development, implementation feasibility, market scalability, and the value it can provide to the community.

Team WEALBEE presented a project of the same name, aiming to support users in accessing suitable solutions in finance and resource management. With a clearly defined business model and product development direction, the project received positive assessments from the judging panel in terms of applicability and development potential.

Team MITU presented PulmoAI, an artificial intelligence-based solution in the healthcare sector. The project aims to support data screening and analysis, contributing to improving the efficiency of monitoring and assessing users’ health conditions.

The final presentation was delivered by Team PQM with the ReactorOS project. Although the team members were studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City and were unable to attend the Final Round in person, they participated in the pitching session online and completed all requirements set by the Organizing Committee. The team’s preparation and participation demonstrated its commitment to the competition.

Following the presentations, the judging panel evaluated the projects based on criteria including innovation, applicability, feasibility, and presentation skills.

The results of this year’s competition provide a foundation for the competition to further expand its scale, enhance its professional quality, and continue contributing to the development of an academic environment that promotes entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation among students at National Economics University.
