During the recent semester, the International School of Management and Economics (ISME@NEU), National Economics University (NEU), welcomed nine international exchange students from seven countries: France, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Japan, and China. In addition to experiencing the dynamic academic environment at NEU, the students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in international student life and explore Vietnamese culture through a variety of activities organized by the Institute.
Beyond classroom learning, the students participated in a wide range of academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities. These included the Orientation Day Cultural Experience at Duong Lam Ancient Village, the ISME Career Fair, the ISME Billiard Promotion Tournament, the Safari Masquerade Gala Night, and the AEP MasterChef Competition, where the international student team achieved an impressive Second Prize overall.
In May 2026, ISME@NEU continued its internationalization efforts by welcoming three international interns from Western University, Canada. Bringing experience in corporate strategy, large-scale event coordination, marketing and sales, project management, and hockey coaching in Toronto, the interns will work on developing and implementing international student recruitment projects for ISME@NEU, targeting key markets in Indonesia, China, and Japan.
ISME@NEU is more than just a place to study. It is an international-standard learning environment where students can learn, connect, and grow within a comprehensive ecosystem of academic excellence, cultural exchange, and diverse extracurricular experiences.
