On the morning of Saturday, September 28th, 2024, at the National Economics University (NEU), the International School of Management and Economics (ISME) held a warm welcome and an orientation ceremony for new students of the 4th intake of the International Master’s Program IMD@NEU. The event took place in a friendly and open atmosphere in Room 501, 5th Floor, Building D2, with the participation of numerous faculty members, guests, and new students.

Regarding external guests, the event was attended by Ms. Dang Thuy Ha, Northern Regional Director of NielsenIQ Vietnam. From ISME, the ceremony was honored to welcome Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang, Vice Principal of ISME; Dr Duong Van Bay, Head of the Graduate Department, along with other faculty members from ISME, and more than 40 new students of IMD@NEU 4th intake.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the new students were warmly welcomed and guided. They were divided into groups to quickly get to know their teachers, classmates, and the new learning environment. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang, Vice Principal of ISME, delivered an opening speech to welcome the new students. She mentioned the core values that the IMD@NEU Master’s program offers and encouraged students to take advantage of every opportunity for learning, personal growth, and forming meaningful relationships throughout their journey here.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the awarding of scholarships to new students with outstanding achievements. These scholarships are not only recognition of excellent students’ efforts but also serve as motivation for them to continue striving in their future studies.

Continuing with the event, Ms. Dang Thuy Ha, a representative from NielsenIQ Vietnam and also an alumna of ISME, delivered an insightful presentation on the topic “Managing Change Based on Market and Customer Trends.” Using her practical experiences in a managerial position at a leading company, Ms. Ha provided valuable knowledge and inspired new students, helping them to better understand the importance of understanding market trends in today’s business environment.
Dr. Dang Thuy Ha, a representative from NielsenIQ Vietnam and also an alumna of ISME, delivered an insightful presentation on the topic “Managing Change Based on Market and Customer Trends.”
After the presentation, Dr. Duong Van Bay, Head of the Graduate Department at ISME, provided detailed information about the study program, the development roadmap throughout the course as well as other extracurricular activities. Additionally, the faculty members attentively answered all questions related to academic matters, scholarship conditions, and postgraduate development opportunities.
